6:30 PM: The Wonky Professor's Visit

A Delicious Surprise

At around 6:30 PM, I found myself in a strange haze, uncertain if I had fallen asleep or if parts of my memory had simply faded from my grasp. What I do remember is my best friend, whom I refer to as "The Wonky Professor," arriving at the request of my roommate to check on me. His presence immediately altered the tone of my trip, turning it from a colorless, desaturated experience into one of vivid vibrancy.

In a surprising moment, the Wonky Professor handed me a Baconator burger. To my amazement, I devoured it with enthusiasm, enjoying the flavors despite the intense state I was in. My motor functions, however, were still poor, and I ended up making a mess while eating.

Anthem of the Sun: The Grateful Dead in a New Light

The Wonky Professor had brought his record player and began to play Anthem of the Sun by the Grateful Dead. Although I’ve never been a fan of their music, in this state, it was transformative. The music seemed to unlock a new dimension, as mandalas began to spin into existence, their bright, psychedelic colors emerging in sync with the rhythm. It reminded me of the vivid visuals often associated with DMT. This was a stark contrast to the earlier parts of the trip, which had been dull and lacking in color.

Though my mind began to feel somewhat under my control again, my body remained uncoordinated and sluggish. After filling my water jug, the Wonky Professor left, and I was once again alone with my thoughts.

8:00 PM: The Breaking Glass and the Event Horizon

Anxiety and the Singularity

Around 8:00 PM, the tranquility was shattered—literally. The sound of breaking glass echoed through my room, a sharp and unsettling noise that sent shockwaves through my body. The vibration felt like it was shaking me from the inside out. As I glanced at the wall, something unimaginable began to form—what looked like the event horizon of a singularity. It was a terrifying sight, one that triggered a surge of anxiety.

I had witnessed something similar during a heavy DMT trip, and that experience had taken a dark turn, populated with ominous, shadowy entities. I feared that I was headed back to that same dark place. Desperate to slow my descent into panic, I tried to control my breathing, attempting to center myself. But it was too late. Before I knew it, I was pulled into a void of total darkness.

The Cosmic Dance: Quasars, Stars, and Time

The darkness was disorienting yet oddly calming. My heart rate slowed as I found solace in the nothingness that surrounded me. Time felt strange, as if I had been there for an eternity and yet no time had passed at all.

Then, without warning, I was thrust into a cosmic vision. I watched as 40 quadrillion particles collided, intertwining in a mesmerizing dance. I observed as quasars formed from dust, and stars burned brightly before fading into nothingness. It was as though I was watching the birth and death of the cosmos, skipping across time like a stone on water. The vastness of it all was overwhelming, yet serene.

2:00 AM: A Return to Reality?

Adderall and Xanax: Grounding the Mind

At 2:00 AM, I found myself back in my bed, my body completely drained from the intensity of the experience. Recognizing that sleep was still far off, I took a 30mg dose of Adderall to maintain focus, along with 2mg of Xanax to calm the mental storm that had reached a new peak. After about 15 minutes, I felt the effects—my body relaxed, and I could finally stand up for the first time in what felt like hours. With some effort, I left my room and went to the bathroom, which I had been neglecting for far too long.

The Mirror Reflection: A Dark Encounter

While in the bathroom, I made the unfortunate decision to look into the mirror. My reflection was unsettling. The figure staring back at me had pitch-black eyes, and to my horror, it winked at me. Fear welled up inside, and I hurried back to my room, retreating from the eerie encounter.

Guardianship: The Arrival of Ghost

Desperate to regain control of my spiraling thoughts, I attempted to meditate, hoping to steer my mind away from the darkness that seemed to be closing in. As I meditated, I felt like I was descending into a high-dose DXM-like state, surrounded by spiders, snakes, and other nightmarish figures. In the corner of the room, the Grudge girl—a manifestation of my fears—stood ominously.

In a last-ditch effort, I called upon a guardian I refer to as Ghost, or "the Arcaine." To my surprise, he responded immediately. His hand reached through the Grudge girl's body, and as he spread his fingers, she exploded into a burst of water. Ghost’s presence illuminated the room, his floodlamp-like eyes casting away the shadows. He smiled at me, reassuring me that I could call on him again if needed. In that moment, I felt an immense sense of safety and protection.

10:00 AM: Sleep and Recovery

Post-Trip Reflections

By 10:00 AM, I had finally managed to sleep. It was a dreamless slumber, but one that my body desperately needed. When I woke, I still felt physically worn out, but the sense of overwhelming exhaustion had lifted slightly. My vascular constriction—a physical side effect of the trip—seemed to be returning to normal as well.

Returning to Normalcy

Though I still experienced lingering visuals, they were now more manageable. Feeling more grounded, I finally felt comfortable enough to leave my room and resume my day-to-day activities. The experience had been an intense journey through altered states of consciousness, but as I emerged on the other side, I felt a renewed sense of control over my mind and body.

This journey had taken me to the farthest reaches of my mind, through fear and cosmic beauty, and back again. While the effects lingered, I was thankful for the moments of calm and clarity that had returned.
